Dense, heavy, and durable. This is what goes with you up the mountain — a hardwood staff will outlast years of real climbing and rough use.

Softwood — Pine

Our most-used wood. Lighter and easier to carve into detail, pine steeecks are the ones you display, gift, or carry for the look as much as the walk.

Caring for your steeeck

A little upkeep keeps the wood strong and the finish looking sharp for years.

Every Few Months

Oil the wood

A light coat of boiled linseed or mineral oil keeps the wood from drying out and cracking, especially after heavy use outdoors.

After Wet Trips

Dry it fully

If it gets rained on or dunked in a stream, let it air-dry fully before storing — trapped moisture is the main cause of splitting.

Height-matched to you

A cane that's the wrong height can throw off balance instead of helping it. We custom-cut to your exact height for a proper, comfortable fit — not a one-size-fits-all length.

Grip & Stability

Ergonomic handles & non-slip tips

Choose a rounded, crook, or offset handle for a comfortable grip, paired with a rubber non-slip tip for secure footing on any surface.
